WNT3
پروتئین پروتو-آنکوژن Wnt-3 (انگلیسی: Proto-oncogene protein Wnt-3) که بهاختصار «WNT3» نامیدهمیشود، یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «WNT3» کد میشود.[۴][۵]
این پروتئین، نوعی مولکولِ سیگنالدهنده است که در چندین فرایند رشد و نمو، ازجمله در تعیین سرنوشت سلولها و شکلدهی به آنها در جریانِ تکامل جنین نقش دارد.
پژوهشها نشان میدهد که ژن تولید کنندهٔ این پروتئین احتمالاً در بروز سرطان پستان، سرطان ریه، سرطان راستروده و سرطان معده هم مؤثر باشد.
این ژن بههمراه ژن دیگری به نام «WNT15»، بر روی بازوی بلند کروموزوم ۱۷ واقع شدهاست.[۵]
