SLC6A15
انتقالدهنده B(0)AT2 اسید آمینه خنثی وابسته به سدیم (انگلیسی: Sodium-dependent neutral amino acid transporter B(0)AT2) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «SLC6A15» کُدگذاری میشود.[۴]
عملکرد
این پروتئین خواص ساختاری یک پیامرسان عصبی وابسته به سدیم و کلر را داراست، از جمله ۱۲ دومِـین تراغشایی، ریشههای آمینی و کربوکسیل و حلقههای برونسلولی بزرگ که حاوی جایگاههای «اِن-گلیکوزیلاسیون» هستند.[۵]
اهمیت بالینی
کاهش بیان ژن «SLC6A15» در هیپوکامپ انسان و کوچکشدن اندازهٔ این ناحیه از مغز، در جریان افسردگی گزارش شدهاست.[۶]
