Arkitekturan, kapitel historiatua izaki bizidunak, eszena erlijiosoak, irudikatzen dituzten margolan edo eskulturak daramatzan kapitela da.
Historiatu adjektiboa, oro har, eszena narratiboz apainduta dagoen lan bat kalifikatzeko erabiltzen da. Horrela, Bibliako historiako eszena bat edo Bibliako edizio ilustratu bat irudikatzen duten kapitela, tinpanoa edo elizako ostikoa (trumeau).[1]
