The Chronicles of Ramlar es un juego de rol de fantasía publicado por White Silver Publishing, Inc.[1] y creado por John Anthony Prescott.
Historia
La pequeña editorial White Silver Publishing reimprimió las reglas básicas del juego de rol Sovereign Stone, tras lo cual comenzó a trabajar en The Chronicles of Ramlar , que se publicó en 2006.[2]
Configuración
El Ramlar al que se refiere el título no es el nombre del mundo, sino su creador, una deidad omnipotente que gobierna sobre los numerosos dioses y diosas que gobiernan diversos aspectos del mundo. El mundo está dividido en dos continentes, y la jugabilidad por defecto comienza en el continente de Eranon.
Sistema
Ramlar utiliza un sistema de combate llamado "Sistema A/B" (abreviatura de Armadura/Cuerpo). Las hojas de personaje muestran un diagrama corporal de forma destacada. Este diagrama es, en esencia, una tabla de ubicación de impactos, donde cada parte del cuerpo tiene sus propios puntos de vida y armadura para protegerla. Ramlar también utiliza una mecánica de combate llamada impulso, que permite a los jugadores convertir sus éxitos previos en oportunidades para obtener éxitos potencialmente mayores. El juego utiliza dados de percentil.
