Ray Lampkin (Ward County, Texas, 18 de noviembre de 1947-2 de junio de 2026)[1][2] fue un boxeador estadounidense de la categoría de peso ligero.[3]
Carrera
Ganó el título de peso ligero de la North American Boxing Federation pero lo perdió en su primera defensa titular ante Esteban de Jesús en el Felt Forum en New York City.[4] En 1975 tuvo una oportunidad titular por el título de peso ligero de la World Boxing Association (WBA) ante Roberto Durán en Panamá, pelea que terminó perdiendo luego de 14 asaltos.[5]
Lampkin terminó su carrera con 35 victorias (16 por nocaut), seis derrotas (dos por nocaut) y un empate. Lampkin fue seleccionado miembro del Oregon Sports Hall of Fame en 2014.[6]
