La Orden de la Liberación[1]​ (en francés: Ordre de la Libération) es una distinción francesa creada por el general Charles de Gaulle en 1940 por la que las Fuerzas Francesas Libres distinguieron a personas militares y civiles, unidades militares o ciudades, que contribuyeron significativamente a la victoria francesa durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.[1]​ creada formalmente por decreto en 1946, la orden fue excepcionalmente otorgada a Winston Churchill en 1958 y el rey Jorge VI, en 1960 a título póstumo. La insignia de la orden es la Cruz de la Liberación (Croix de la Libération), una placa rectangular de bronce pulido, cargada de una espada brochante sobre una cruz de Lorena de color negro, con una cinta de color verde y negro. En el reverso lleva la inscripción en latín: « Patriam Servando - Victoriam Tulit »
