Jan Benzien (Gießen, 22 de julio de 1982) es un deportista alemán que compitió en piragüismo en la modalidad de eslalon. Su esposa, Mandy Planert, compitió en el mismo deporte.[1]

Ganó doce medallas en el Campeonato Mundial de Piragüismo en Eslalon entre los años 2002 y 2017, y dieciséis medallas en el Campeonato Europeo de Piragüismo en Eslalon entre los años 2002 y 2018.[2]

Participó en dos Juegos Olímpicos de Verano, en los años 2008 y 2016, ocupando el cuarto lugar en Río de Janeiro 2016, en la prueba de C2.[1]
