Dainella es un género de foraminífero bentónico de la subfamilia Endostaffellinae, de la familia Endothyridae, de la superfamilia Endothyroidea, del suborden Fusulinina[1] y del orden Fusulinida.[2] Su especie tipo es Endothyra chomatica. Su rango cronoestratigráfico abarca el Viseense (Carbonífero inferior).
Discusión
Clasificaciones más recientes incluyen Dainella en la subfamilia Dainellinae, de la familia Loeblichiidae, de la superfamilia Loeblichioidea,[3][4] y en el suborden Endothyrina, del orden Endothyrida, de la subclase Fusulinana de la clase Fusulinata.[5][6]
