Asmund
Asmund, Ásmund o Åsmund (nórdico antiguo: Ásmundr) es un nombre masculino de origen escandinavo, popular durante la Era vikinga. La etimología del nombre procede del protogermánico *ansuz (As en nórdico antiguo: dios(es).) y Mund (del nórdico antiguo, protector), por lo que se puede interpretar como «protector de los dioses».[1]
