Unterbäch estas komunumo en la distrikto Okcidenta Rarono en Kantono Valezo, Svislando. Ĝi havis 398 loĝantojn je la 31-a de decembro 2012.

Geografio

La komunumo Unterbäch situas en Supra Valzeo sur altigita tavolo ĉe la suda flanko de la valo de Rodano. La komunumo Unterbäch konsistas el la vilaĝoj Bachtola kaj Holz, kaj la setlejoj Salzgäba, Steihüs, Eggini, Brand, Periebe kaj Waldmatte.[1]

La teritorio de la komunumo etendiĝas sur areo de 21,99 km², de kiuj 25,2% estas kovritaj de arbaro, 28,5% servas por agrikulturo kaj 1,9% por setlado. [2]

Historio

La unua dokumenta mencio de Unterbäch datiĝas el la jaro 1280 kiel Underbechque. En la 12-a kaj 13-a jarcento la Baronoj de Rarono, de Asperlin kaj de Bex posedis bienojn en Unterbäch. Kiel prenantoj de la feŭdo de la episkopo de Siono la Senjoroj de Unterbäch posedis en la centro de la vilaĝo loĝoturon, kiu estis konstruita en la 12-a kaj 13-a jarcento.
