Samseksamulino, samseksemulino, lesbanino aŭ lesbo (vorto devenanta de la nomo de la insulo Lesbo) estas virino samseksema, t.e. kiu preferas seksajn kaj romantikajn rilatojn nur kun aliaj virinoj.

Aliaj sinonimoj de lesbeco : "safismo", "sapfismo", "tribadismo" (arkaike).

Historio

La termino lesbanino referencas al la insulo Lesbo (nuntempe Mitileno) en Grekio kaj al la poetino Sapfo, pro ŝiaj pasiaj poemoj (dediĉitaj al ŝiaj amikinoj) kaj la vivo ĉirkaŭata de aliaj virinoj.

La finiĝo -ismo en lesbanismo implicis la ideon ke la komunuma organizo de la gesamseksemuloj tendencis al la promocio de iliaj kondutoj. Post kresko de la opinio en la socio ke samseksemo estas propravola, imponiĝis «samseksemo» super «samseksemismo».

Ekzistas biblia historio kiu temas pri familia amo, inter Ruth kaj Noemi.
