Norda Ekspedicio

Generalissimo Ĉiang Kai-ŝek, ĉefkomandanto de la NRA, eliris el la Norda Ekspedicio kiel la estro de la KMT kaj de Ĉinio.

La Norda Ekspedicio estis militkampanjo lanĉita de la Nacia Revolucia Armeo (NRA) de la Kuomintang (KMT), konata ankaŭ kiel "Ĉina Naciisma Partio", kontraŭ la registaro de Bejĝang kaj aliaj regionaj militsenjoroj en 1926. La celo de la kampanjo estis reunuigi Ĉinion mem, kiu estis fragmentita en la sekvo de la Revolucio de 1911. La ekspedicio estis estrita de la Generalo Ĉiang Kai-ŝek, kaj estis dividita en du fazoj. La unua fazo finiĝis en 1927 per politika disigo inter la du frakcioj de la KMT: nome la dekstrula Nankina frakcio, estrita de Ĉiang, kaj la maldekstra frakcio de Vuhano, estrita de Ŭang Ĉingŭei.[1] Tiu disigo estis parte okazigita pro la ŝanghaja masakra ekstermo de komunistoj el la KMT, kio markis la finon de la Unua Unuigita Fronto. Kiel klopodo mildigi tiun skismon, Ĉiang Kai-ŝhek elposteniĝis kiel ĉefkomandanto de la NRA en Aŭgusto 1927, kaj iris al ekzilo en Japanio.[2][3]

La dua fazo de la Norda Ekspedicio ekis en Januaro 1928, kiam Ĉiang reprenis la komandon. Ĉirkaŭ Aprilo 1928, la naciistaj fortoj estis progresintaj al la Flava Rivero. Kun la helpo de aliancitaj militsenjoroj kiel Ĝan Ksiŝan kaj Feng Ĝuksiang, naciistaj fortoj ekhavis serion de gravaj venkoj kontraŭ la Bejĝanga Armeo. Kiam ili alproksimiĝis al Pekino, Ĵang Zuolin, estro de la Manĉuria Fengtiana grupo, estis devigita fuĝi, kaj estis murdita tuj poste fare de la japanoj. Lia filo, Ĉang Ksueliang, enposteniĝis kiel estro de la Fengtiana grupo, kaj en Decembro 1928, anoncis, ke Manĉurio akceptas la aŭtoritaton de la naciisma registaro de Nankino. Kun la fina parto de Ĉinio sub kontrolo de la KMT, la Norda Ekspedicio konkludis sukcese kaj Ĉinio estis reunuigita, kio heraldis la starton de la Nankina jardeko.[4]
