Lipica ĉevalo

Lipica ĉevalo (germane: Lipizzaner) estas ĉevalraso, bredita en la iama Aŭstra-Hungara Monarĥio, en vilaĝo Lipica (nun Slovenio), proksime al Triesto.

Oni fondis ĉevalaron ĉ. 1580 (1572) por provizi la aŭstran kortegon per helgrizaj ĉevaloj. Oni bredis la lipicajn ĉevalojn el hispanaj-napolaj ĉevaloj, sed la formadon de la raso partoprenis eĉ arabaj kaj berberaj purrasuloj. La raso havas plurajn tipojn, kiuj ricevis siajn nomojn de la fondintaj (praaj) bred-virĉevaloj (Pluto, Conversano, Neapolitano, Favory, Maestoso, Siglavy kaj Incitato).

La lipica ĉevalo estas relative malgranda, longkrura, larĝdorsa ĉevalo kun dika, mallonga kolo, forta korpostrukturo. Ĝia postkola alto estas 150–160 cm, korpomaso 450–590 kg. Ĝia kapo spegulas la araban efikon, sed oni povas rekoni eĉ trajtojn de hispanaj ĉevaloj. Ĝia okulo estas esprimiva, la koloro estas griza, malofte bruna aŭ nigra.

La raso estas bredita ĉefe en la post-landoj de la iama Aŭstra-Hungara Monarĥio; Ĉeĥio, Slovenio, Hungario (ekde 1950 en Szilvásvárad) kaj eĉ en Rumanio, sed en malgranda nombro en aliaj landoj. Tiu raso konsistigas ĉevalojn de Hispana Rajdlernejo en Vieno.
