Harpo

Harpo estas kordinstrumento kiu havas siajn kordojn perpendiklaj al la resonanca tabulo. Ĉiu harpo havas kolon, resonancilon kaj kordojn. Iuj harpoj ankaŭ havas kadran kolonon; harpo sen ĉi tiu kolono estas konata kiel malferma harpo. Kordoj de harpo estas ofte faritaj el nilono (iufoje fortigita kun kupro), besta intesto, aŭ drato.

Kromataj harpoj havas krucitajn kordojn, aŭ 7-plus-5 kordojn kiel ĉe la piana klavaro - aŭ 6-plus-6 kordojn.
