Belgian football manager (born 1977)
Wim Mennes (born 25 January 1977) is a Belgian professional football manager and former player who was most recently the head coach of Belgian Division 3 club Wezel Sport.
Managerial career
In 2022, at the age of 45, Mennes retired from playing football.[1][2] He immediately transitioned to a coaching role, taking over as head coach of Belgian Division 3 club Wezel Sport, succeeding Sepp De Roover.[2] In his first season, Mennes led Wezel Sport to the title in the Belgian Division 3 VV B, achieving consecutive promotions for the club.[3] In March 2023, it was announced that Mennes would not continue as coach after the 2022–23 season.[4]
