Infobox musical artist

{{Infobox musical artist}} is the standard template to be used on a non-classical musician's or musical ensemble's page. However, there are cases where a more specific template may be more appropriate, such as college or university marching bands, which should use {{Infobox college marching band}}.

Alternatively, the template may be used as a module (or sub-template) of {{Infobox person}}.
