Current goals

- List:
- Identify all existing Wikipedia Java-related articles (with Category:Java platform or a subcategory).
- List Java topics not already covered in Wikipedia articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_article_requests)
- Expand and format the list of articles accordingly. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_articles)
- Identify all existing Wikipedia Java-related articles (with Category:Java platform or a subcategory).
- Tag:
- Put the project banner {{WikiProject Java}} on Java-related articles' talk page to make editors aware of the existence of this project.
- Put the project banner {{WikiProject Java}} on Java-related articles' talk page to make editors aware of the existence of this project.
- Assess:
- Assess (or reassess) unassessed articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/Assessment)
- Increase article quality towards Start, C, B, A, GA or FA status according to their importance level.

- Write:
- Write the listed redlink articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_article_requests)
- Put an Infobox like {{Infobox software}} in articles where applicable.

- Maintain the WikiProject Java.
