Valentina Rosamilia (born 27 January 2003) is a Swiss middle distance runner.[1]
Career
From Aargau, in July 2019 she won silver in the 800 metres at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku.[2] At the same event she and bronze in the medley relay.[3]
In July 2021, she won bronze at the 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships in Tallinn.[4] In August 2021, she was a silver medalist at the 2021 World Athletics U20 Championships in Nairobi.[5]
In March 2023, she competed at the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul.[6]
She set a new personal best of 2:00.98 in qualifying for the semi final of the 800 metres at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome.[7] She ran a lifetime best of 1:58.69 in finishing third in Winterthur at the Swiss Athletics Championships in June 2024.[8] She competed in the 800 metres at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in August 2024, where she reached the semi-finals.[9]
