Preventing tagging with a "deny" statement
If the bot is continually tagging a page that is not within a project's scope, it is because the article is in one of the categories identified by the project as within their scope.

Either the category should be removed (from the article or the category list) as erroneous or a deny statement can prevent the bot from tagging that specific article. The statement is as follows, where WP:XXX is replaced with the name of the specific task:
