Welcome!

Hello, Rahsoft, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Rahsoft, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. Speedy deletion nomination of User:Rahsoft

A tag has been placed on User:Rahsoft, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because I am the owner of Rahsoft and simply am trying to add a page about my company which has been around since 2016 on Wikipedia. All I have written has facts and I can provide any reference needed

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Rahsoft. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:33, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Liz,
thank you for your fast and detailed info. What you mention actually makes sense. Since I want my company to have a Wikipedia page, is there a way you can recommend I do so? Would asking one of my students who has graduated and does not have any involvement on the company any more work? All I want is to say in Wikipedia that my company is a RF engineering online training and consulting company based in Orange County California.
Below are proofs you can even see 4000+ students putting review one one of our training platforms
https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/yorba-linda/profile/education/rahsoft-1126-1000082807
https://www.udemy.com/user/rahsoft-rf-certificate/
if you search the company name below it would even show in the state website with my name
https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business
thanks

At this time, I do not believe it would be appropriate for Wikipedia to have an article about your company. We determine article subject notability primarily by looking at the amount of coverage that the subject has received in reliable sources that are independent of the subject—see Wikipedia:Notability for more information. Because your company has not received a lot of coverage in such independent, reliable sources (e.g. newspapers, books, scholarly papers), I do not believe it is appropriate for Wikipedia to have an article about it at this time. If the company is truly notable enough, then an editor will come along eventually to write an article about it. I would discourage you from asking your student to write an article—the fact that they were once your student strikes me as a conflict of interest. Best, Mz7 (talk) 07:24, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website, I have blocked this account from editing. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. Mz7 (talk) 07:25, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
