@KjonesKev The excerpt included from the Pitchfork review includes the line "even if it only works in fits and starts"; in other words, the writer is saying the album doesn't entirely work. I take that as mixed, even if it's leaning positive. It also doesn't help that there are only three reviews; if there were even a couple more which were more positive then I would be fine with it, but in this case I don't think it's enough to call a consensus. @KjonesKev as explained here, autoconfirmed users receive article creation rights, and a user becomes autoconfirmed once their account is at least 4 days old and has at least 10 edits. If you're at that point then you're good to go; however, for your first article, I would still recommend starting with a draft, as the review process can be helpful in understanding article requirements. Hello, I see you replied on my questions for standard of studio albums and EPs. Thanks again for this!

But I'm still vague about standard. If the album exceeds 8 songs AND 30 minutes, is it becoming studio album unconditionally?

And also does the counting rely on release dates? (I'm sorry for asking these questions again, but I really need your help.)

For example, 143 (Katy Perry album), which is called as "sixth" on her official website, but for release date, it becomes seventh because Katy Hudson (album) is also a studio album.

Also for Lady Gaga, her two collaborative albums exceed 8 songs and 30 minutes, so is this studio album? @Camilasdandelions As far as I'm aware, we don't have any set standard for determining the difference between albums and EPs ourselves, and that we're meant to prioritize reliable sources and what they say on the matter. Otherwise, there could be a lot of arguing over what precise numbers count as too long for an EP, and that's not worth the hassle, nor is it in line with how Wikipedia usually operates. Just look at the sources for the album, and see if they call it an album, EP, mixtape, or anything else, and go with that. It's rare that there's any confusion found that way. Yeah.. it's rare to confuse, but The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga had many confusions for its album format.
Also I have another question. If the albums' formats are defined by reliable sources, then can we just count them as only for "release date"? For example, among these same formats of albums, we just can define the album, which was release for the first time as "1st studio album", and second-released album as "2nd studio album".... etc, even though the artist's name was changed (like Katy Perry and Sia). In another wiki, the albums' "count" has to be defined by reliable sources. Not a format. If source doesn't say anything and just describle only like "(Singer)'s new album", we can't describle it as number. (To be honest, it's so hard to find sources saying album "count" like "second studio album".) @Camilasdandelions In the case of #th album, I think WP:CALC applies and you get a pass for just counting up an artist's previous studio albums. Just so long as said calculation isn't contradicted by reliable sources, you should be fine to put in a number that makes obvious sense. For your release date question, I'm not quite sure I understand what you're asking, so excuse me if this is off the mark. In the case of Katy Perry, I see that Katy Hudson is regarded as her debut album. I don't know if that's based on reliable sources or not, but it seems fine to me to include. That's not always the case (again pointing to Björk as an example), but handling it on a case-by-case basis makes the most sense to me.
