The WikiSalon is a special meetup usually held during the first and third full weeks of every month, from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's an informal gathering of Wikimedia enthusiasts, who come together to discuss Wikimedia wikis and collaboratively edit. There's no set agenda, and guests are welcome to recommend articles for the group to edit or edit on their own.

If you're coming by Metro, the closest station is Dupont Circle (on the Red Line). If you're driving, a lot of parking opens up downtown after 6:30 PM, so finding a parking space (even a free one) should be easy. Once you've found the building, go to Cove on the second floor. We will be in the conference room.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. Hi, I just promoted your hook to the queue. Just wanted to let you know that it's a bit dangerous to edit the name and history of a DYK nomination template when you change the page name. I was unable to even find the template until I figured out what happened and restored the original nomination name and history. It's much safer to post a note at WT:DYK and ask someone familiar with the template code to make the fixes when you change a page name. Hi there, there was a discussion at Wikipedia:Main Page/Errors that we have two images of Lincoln on the main page. After the above spent 15 minutes on the main page, I swapped it out with another hook to avoid that double up. It's now scheduled to run in 24 hours' time. Hope that's ok with you.
