Ok if you really want to save that article. You need to get to work on it pretty quickly. I think it can be turned into a decent article but at present it is only a cut and paste job. We don't do it like that on Wikipedia. You need to research the topic and write it with a bit of style. See what you can do, but don't leave it like it is as it will get deleted. I checked the wikicode for the Wikistripe you got and it was all correct, except it was right-aligned, and as images are programmed to do in Wikipedia it behaves by having the remaining text on the page cut around it - which is what got you that horrible result. The workaround is to change it from left-align to center-align. Now if you don't want it in the center and particularly want it left or right, you can try putting it in a table - and then left or right aligning the table - but I haven't tested this Rfwoolf (talk) 12:28, 5 December 2007 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2007-12-05T12:28:00.000Z","author":"Rfwoolf","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Rfwoolf-2007-12-05T12:28:00.000Z-Fattyjwoods-2007-12-05T07:40:00.000Z","replies":[]}}-->

Hello, Fattyjwoods. You can horizontally align things by adding align="left" or align="center" or align="right" to the appropriate HTML tag. Note the American spelling of center. Using centre won't work. For example,
<div align="center">''Your text here''</div>
Vertical alignment is done with valign instead of align, with the values [top, middle, bottom].
Alternatively, you can specify alignment in the style attribute:
<div style="text-align:center;vertical-align:top">''Your text here''</div>
I'd suggest finding an online tutorial on HTML and/or CSS, which will help you learn more about this stuff.

That's because there you created tables. These tables are objects with a background of their own. The pictures within the tables do not cover the whole table, therefore the rest of it is shown in the original color. All you had to do, was to tell the program, which color you want. To show you, how to do, I have done it. Please see Help:Table for more information on tables. Hi guys, I need a little bit of help. Is it possible to make a signature, that's like fat in the middle and thin around the outside – like a roughly shaped oval ball? That’ll be so cool cause by username’s Fattyjwoods. I know that you can’t have giant signatures but if it’s possible my signature won’t have to be giant! Also, if it’s possible could the helpful person add the count page or the contribution page or whatever you would like to call it. (http://tools.wikimedia.de/~interiot/cgi-bin/Tool1/wannabe_kate?username=Fattyjwoods&site=en.wikipedia.org) so that it’s included in my signature? And finally could you link the Special:Contributions page to the signature as well? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Fattyjwoods
So a example would be (without the fat “Fattyjwoods”bit)

I noticed that you said that Thirdman was posting short articles about English villages. That actually isn't against the rules (although that can be argued), even though it has no context. However, you could mark the article with an SD template, because of this "little or no context clause". I believe that he's just introducing the article, not trying to spam us here at Wikipedia. Firstly, let me wish you a very happy New Year and thank you for all your help in the Milhist Tag & Assess 2007 drive.
Secondly, although the Tag & Assess 2007 drive is now officially closed, you are very welcome to continue tagging and assessing until 31 January 2008. Any articles you tag and assess during this time will be credited fully to your tagging tally for further award purposes.
Thirdly, if you can find the time, it would be good to have your feedback/comments on the drive at the
Tag & Assess workshop

Hi, I'd just like to remind you that CSD A2 applies only to articles that are verbatim copies of an existing article on a foreign-language Wikipedia. (A Google search can be useful for verifying this, or you can just check the appropriate Wikipedia directly if you recognize the language.) Foreign-language articles such as Byeboerdery which do not (yet) exist on another Wikipedia should be tagged with {{notenglish}} instead. Thanks, and have a nice day. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 11:02, 6 January 2008 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2008-01-06T11:02:00.000Z","author":"Ilmari Karonen","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Ilmari_Karonen-2008-01-06T11:02:00.000Z-Byeboerdery_and_CSD_A2","replies":["c-Fattyjwoods-2008-01-07T01:30:00.000Z-Ilmari_Karonen-2008-01-06T11:02:00.000Z"]}}-->

The contest department has completed its ninth month of competition. The top scorer this month is Blnguyen, with 22 points, followed by Dreamafter, with 8 points, and Redmarkviolinist, with 6 points. Blnguyen also remains the overall leader, with 162 points in total. All project members are encouraged to submit the articles they're working on as entries.
Blnguyen has been awarded the WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves in recognition of his efforts in improving the quality of articles related to Vietnamese military history, including the creation of numerous A-Class articles.
Woodym555 has been awarded the WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves in recognition of his outstanding work on topics related to the Victoria Cross, notably including the creation of featured articles, featured lists, and a featured topic.
Although the drive is officially closed, existing participants can continue tagging until January 31 if they wish, with the extra tags counting towards their tally for barnstar purposes.
We'd like to see what lessons can be learned from this drive, so we've set up a feedback workshop. Comments and feedback from participants and non-participants
alike are very welcome and appreciated.

The February 2008 Military history WikiProject coordinator election has begun. We will be selecting nine coordinators to serve for the next six months from a pool of fifteen candidates. Please vote here by February 28! --Eurocopter tigre (talk) 12:53, 16 February 2008 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2008-02-16T12:53:00.000Z","author":"Eurocopter tigre","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Eurocopter_tigre-2008-02-16T12:53:00.000Z-Military_history_WikiProject_coordinator_election_2","replies":[]}}-->
Thank you for participating in my 2nd RfA and supporting me! My RfA passed unanimously at 79 support, 0 oppose, 0 neutral. I would like to take this opportunity to thank AndonicO and Rudget for nominating me. I also want to thank LaraLove for persuading me to keep going after I failed my first RfA.
To be really honest, I am surprised that my RfA passed without any oppose or neutral. Being an administrator means more responsibilities, especially when I'm now an administrator on both English Wikipedia as well as WikiSpecies. I promise everyone that I will use the tools effectively to serve the community. If you need help on anything, don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Last but not least, remember the motto for Ohana: "When it comes to family, nobody gets left behind."
Once again, thanks for placing your trust in me to help the community. Thank you very much for your support in the recent Military history Wikiproject elections. I went into it expecting to just keep my seat and was astonished to end up with the lead role. I anticipate a rather busy six months :) --ROGER DAVIEStalk13:26, 29 February 2008 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2008-02-29T13:26:00.000Z","author":"Roger Davies","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Roger_Davies-2008-02-29T13:26:00.000Z-Thank_you","replies":[],"displayName":"ROGER\u00a0DAVIES"}}-->
