User talk:CreativeLibrary460

Hello, welcome to my talk page!

If you want to leave a message, please do it at the bottom, as a new section, for better formatting. You can do that by simply clicking the plus sign (+), "New section", or "Add topic" at the top of this page. And don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Attention: I prefer to keep discussions unfragmented. If you leave a comment for me here, I will most likely respond to it on this same page—my talk page—as an effort to keep the entire conversation in one place. By the same token, if I leave a comment on your talk page, please respond to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist and topic subscriptions to keep track of when responses are made. At the same time, feel free to send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left elsewhere.

Thank you!

Welcome!

Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. Speedy deletion tagging is good.

However, for most new users, having one's first article creation deleted feels like a slap in the face. I make sure they get a template:first article welcome to explain expectations for new article creation. Believe me when I tell you the welcome takes some of the sting out of the slap. I also notify them that their work has been tagged for speedy deletion in an effort to give them an opportunity to make improvements, and to give them the opportunity to contest the tagging. Please consider doing these things as well. Best. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 09:44, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I was tagging speedy deletion to promotional userpages and their own sandboxes. >^CreativeLibrary460 /access the library revision\ 09:50, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
And I don't usually create articles, except in rare cases. >^CreativeLibrary460 /access the library revision\ 09:52, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yes. That is when you should notify the page creator. And perhaps you should create some articles. Perhaps you would have greater empathy for those who try. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:29, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Deepfriedokra For some articles, I will think about this. >^CreativeLibrary460 /access the library revision\ 21:32, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Stop adding stub templates

Hi, please stop adding stub templates everywhere, especially for articles that are not tagged stub-class but are tagged start-class or above. I see you want to help, but competence is required. Cavarrone 09:08, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

✅Ok. >^CreativeLibrary460 /access the library revision\ 16:10, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Please notify creators when tagging for deletion

"Users nominating a page for speedy deletion should specify which criterion/criteria the page meets, and should notify the page creator and any major contributors." Best practice would be to also give them a {{{FIRSTARTICLE}}} welcome. Thanks. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:25, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
