Hammerhead
Album and gig reviews are a good way of demonstrating notability. In this case, you'll have a hard time finding them from basic Google searches, which will turn up a lot of irrelevant articles about sharks and star wars figures... try site specific Google searches, i.e. if you thought there might be a review hidden somewhere on www.salon.com you would search for 'Hammerhead site:www.salon.com'.
Another good one might be Google News Archives: http://news.google.co.uk/archivesearch A quick search there for 'Hammerhead band' yields a couple of promising results.
You don't have to use online sources. If this band was active and popular in the mid 90s, there's a good chance there will be a number of magazine articles that never made it online. Article title, magazine name and date of issue is all you need. Make sure that the source backs up the claim though. Catfish Jim and the soapdish (talk) 11:31, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Kalamunda, Western Australia. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. Graham87 04:09, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Rest (band)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rest (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. GamerPro64 08:26, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
