The upper limit that I've observed is a year, I think. But I was only an admin from 2007 - 2011, and didn't recall this edit until you mentioned it. There are no sources that say he was born (or ever) "Bradford Bradford." The video interview with him and his mother make it clear that at the time his mother changed his surname to Bradford, he established his given name as "Brad."
