Lil Jay is a young rapper from Long Island,NY that signed with Lights Out records when he was 12 he started his career with his hit single Not The Same. When he turned 13 in February, 2011 he started to make more music and release it on the web as a freestyle because he had no beats or instrumentals for his music. Lights Out Records was his own idea with a couple of his friends. Lil Jay originality recorded a demo at The Box Recording Studio on long island. The demo has not got him a record deal yet but the demo and himself show people around long island who he is and what he is capable of.Lil Jay says he does not try to be like eminem and he does not try to copy eminem's music at all. He says he does not want to become better then eminem just because eminem and young jayson are both caucasian. Lil Jay says soon enough he will get signed and he has gotten responded by major record labels but he has not signed with any yet he says soon enough he will release an extended play.
