Area 51 Raid

The most historical event of the early 21st century started off as a simple joke on the popular social media page "Facebook" grew into a massive organized event. Influential speakers such as Pewdiepie were among the many to spread the word. Various internet sensations known as memes spawned, and the world was waiting for Armegeddon to begin. On September 20th, only about 150 people showed up. It seemed like the talks of invading the base were wrong. But 6 months later, the other million people showed up and Natuto ran towards the base. The American military base was overrun and the internet warriors won. Countless secret world projects were there, including captive aliens from the Andromeda galaxy. This sparked a global debate as to what humanity should do about the aliens. The United Nations voted to dispose of all traces of alien life. The aliens were peaceful, even though they were captured on warcrafts. The several million people behind the raid were granted entry into the spacecrafts soon after the world led a strike against them. There was no bloodshed, and the millions of people went into space through a wormhole. Graciously, those noble heroes came back to gift Earth with advanced knowledge and technology.
