Lucas has released two studio albums (one solo EP and one full-band album). Contents Early life[edit] Lucas Jack was born Lucas Jack Hinkle in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 10, 1981. He grew up along with 6 siblings in the small town of Otsego, Michigan, until 1997, when his family relocated to Kalamazoo, where his father, John Hinkle, was a small business owner. His mother, Pat Hinkle, was a homemaker closely involved and active within her community and church. Lucas was exposed to music at a very early age by piano lessons and singing at church. He served as his church pianist in his early teens and was a guest performer at the Otsego Rotary Club at age 12. In high school, Lucas played weddings, parties, and cigar bars in and around Kalamazoo. Adult years[edit] Lucas attended Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan and DePaul College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. He began his professional career working as an attorney in Chicago, where he practiced primarily commercial litigation and bankruptcy law. Lucas married his girlfriend, Julie (the subject of the song "The Rest") on June 25, 2011. Lucas and Julie moved to San Antonio, Texas immediately after their wedding. Julie serves in the United States Air Force and is stationed in San Antonio. They have one daughter, Clementine, born in 2013. Clementine is the subject of the song "Clementine". Studio Releases: The Chicago EP (2012)[edit]
On June 12, 2012, Lucas Jack released a 5-track EP entitled The Chicago EP. It is a solo acoustic album recorded at Hollywood Studios, produced by Mack Damon.
Sun City (2013)[edit] Sun City[2], Lucas Jack's first full-length LP, was released on March 23, 2013 and is a 15-song pop masterpiece. The album, produced by Mack Damon, was recorded at Hollywood Studios. All 15 songs on the album were written Lucas Jack during 2012[3].
Band: The lineup of Lucas Jack’s live band includes Michael Gomez on drums, Will Kelly on bass, and Matt Adler on guitars and backing vocals.
