So many people here unfortunately spread propaganda that supports the division of Cyprus, which is horrific. They fail to grasp the depth of the problem which is a conspiracy, a power struggle between Turkish and Greek nationalists, used as a mask by Great Britain to secure Cyprus as the "unsinkable aircraft carrier" of the Middle East. This problem has been in existence for more than 45 years. In the end, this conspiracy will fail only if Greek and Turkish Cypriots wake up to this realization.

Some say the Annan plan would have done just that, but what plan does not secure the return of all refugees, does not provide for the common defence by Cypriots, and does not get rid of all foreign military presence, Greek, Turkish and British. Such a country under the Annan plan would not have been independent, but a slave to outside interests(Greek, Turkish and British) all over again. Such a mistake cannot be repeated.

One day Cypriot cooperation will shock the world, which have been led to believe that "Greeks and Turks cannot live together and cooperate". This belief will be proven wrong.
