Hi! My name is Peter, I'm from Dublin, Ireland and I'm in my late 50s (as of March 2011). I've been editing since 2005 but I'm not going to bore you with how many articles I've created etc. etc. I called myself Scoláire (Irish for scholar) because I was trying to learn all the ins and outs of Wikipedia, not because I consider myself particularly scholarly. I left off the á because I don't think it's fair to have special characters in my user name when people want to address me on talk pages.
I am male. When referring to me in the third person you may say "he" rather than "they".
