Key witness of the Phoenix Lights event in on March 13, 1997. MUFON field investigators were present at his home that evening to investigate sightings he reported each of the previous 3 nights. The investigators filmed the event and worked with Village Labs to investigate the sighting. The Discovery Channel filmed a reenactment of the sighting at Blonder's home for their UFO's over Phoenix documentary that has aired continuously since 1997.

Blonder also appeared on the Strange Universe show filmed the same year and on the UFO Hunters show about the Phoenix Lights in 2009. Blonder has been working with the key investigators of the event over the past two years to include his sighting in the report Dr. Bruce Maccabee published in 1998. He's worked with Dr. Maccabee, Jim Dilettoso, Dr. Lynne Kitei, UFO investigator Larry Lowe and others to determine his line of sighting of the UFOs in relationship to the other triangulated witnesses featured in Maccabee's report.

New revised reports authored by Dr. Maccabee can be found in the Triangulation section of his site at www.oracleofthephoenix.com where all the data of his sighting is made available for Ufologists to analyze. The original film is posted, the composite day/night photos which include pictures taken as part of the 1997 investigation, Google Earth placemarks and the coordinates of all the witnesses.
