Aaron McPherson, born in Oakland, California, is an American actor, director, producer, and acting coach. He is best known for his roles in films such as 'Wanted Man' with Dolph Lundgren and Kelsey Grammer, and 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' with Seth MacFarlane, Charlize Theron, and Liam Neeson. Aaron has also appeared in episodes of TV shows like 'Ransom Canyon' with Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly, Criminal Minds, The Orville, as Trot Simic on Longmire, ER, Monk, Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour, White Collar, and Lethal Weapon.

Aaron is a co-producer on the television series, The Orville, and an associate producer on A Million Ways to Die in the West.

Aaron is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and CalArts (California Institute of the Arts), where he earned an MFA in theater.

Aaron trained with acting coach Larry Moss, who became his mentor. Aaron is featured alongside actress Amy Pietz in Moss’s book, The Intent to Live.

Larry Moss directed Aaron and Shaun Sipos in the West Coast premiere of Neil LaBute’s In A Dark Dark House at The Matrix Theatre in Los Angeles in 2014.

Aaron is an acting coach for actors such as Seth MacFarlane, Matt Bomer, Ciara Bravo, Dolph Lundgren, Ally Loannides, and Aramis Knight.

Aaron is married to actress Challen Cates. They have a son, Colton McPherson, and a daughter, Jasper McPherson.
