Roger McCartney is the man from Mars. The messenger from Mars. Women prepare to be enlightened, Men prepare to be compromised.
His column, ‘Message from Mars’ finished a stint last year in ‘Woman’ magazine in the UK. ‘Message’ was based on the fact that ‘men are from Mars, women are from Venus’ and was a look at life through Martian eyes for the benefit and enlightenment of Venusians.
Recently, he put together a compilation of my thoughts in book format - "Because I'm a Caveman, That's Why!" and that book is available on the internet. The writing is humorous, observational and yet an underlying point about the wider issues of male/female interaction in society in general, is always made.
He discusses such topics such as,
Can men have women friends without wanting to sleep with them? (No) Why men have difficulty saying 'I love you' Are men more romantic than women? Why men are rubbish at DIY. Why do men always have to make the first move? When is it right to sleep with someone on a first date? Why men go the pub. (Women are from Venus, Men are from Bars) Why men hate Breast Implants
