The Tim Rentler Project
In 2005, Tim Rentler graduated from Duquesne University with a Masters of Science in Multimedia. It was there that Tim honed his multi-track recording skills on a digital audio workstation. Tim completed his first Tim Rentler Project CD titled Sonic.Chronic which is considered by some local music critics as a "new direction" in guitar instrumental recording. The first CD is a sonic stew of rock, blues, jazz, funk and world beat.
He subsequently recorded "hangin the MOOSE" and "Machine GUN Bacon" while remaining thoroughly hydrated on MAD DOG!
May 30, 2011 marked a milestone in the journey of the Tim Rentler Project. On that day, the new CD titled "Balls Of Steel" was set for worldwide distribution. Balls Of Steel will be available through all major music distribution channels including iTunes, Amazon.com, Napster, Rhapsody, MediaNet. eMusic, Zune, Nokia, Thumbplay, Spotify, IMVU and MySpace Music. Should this venture prove to be finacially justified, then the other 6 Tim Rentler Project CDs will be made available through these same channels. They include:
Sonic.Chronic (2005), Bait Shack (2006), Rumpus (2007), Cheddar Of Disaster (2008), Chips (2009), Hangin' The Moose (2010)
