He is also a freelance writer who is passionate about Music (in particular Indian classical music), Nature, Dogs, Children etc. He has been a student of Indian Music for about 18 years but is not a performer. His musical favourites are many, some of whom are Mohd. Rafi, Prince Rama Varma (an endless list of favourites by Rama Varma, some of which are Aliveni, Sri Krishnaayanu etc.) Salil Chowdhury, Mukesh, Hemant Kumar, Dr. Balamuralikrishna, Kishore Kumar, S.P.Balasubramaniam, Meera Bhajans by Lakshmi Shankar, a few latin numbers, "Unbreak my heart" by Toni Braxton etc. With all due respects to creators of Fusion Music - he belives that most often' Fusion in Music causes Confusion, nevertheless finds a few pieces by Prem Joshua and troupe, interesting.'
