I am an independent editor with a background in entrepreneurship, technology, early-stage investing, and institution-building. My interests include art, design, material culture, collecting, museums, provenance, and the ways markets and scholarship shape what is preserved and understood.

I have a particular interest in twentieth-century Mexican silver, especially the artists, workshops, collectors, exhibitions, and commercial networks associated with the Taxco School. I also follow Native American jewelry, gemstones, decorative arts, and other fields where craftsmanship, attribution, provenance, and historical documentation intersect.

My current focus is improving Wikipedia's coverage of:

• twentieth-century Mexican silver and the Taxco School;
• silversmiths, jewelry designers, workshops, and master craftsmen;
• museum exhibitions, catalogues, and institutional collections;
• hallmarks, workshop organization, design attribution, and production history;
• Mexican modernism, decorative arts, and related cross-border cultural exchange;
• collectors, dealers, curators, and scholars whose work materially shaped these fields.

I am especially interested in subjects that are historically important but underdocumented online.

I try to base edits on reliable published sources, particularly:

• museum catalogues and collection records;
• scholarly books and exhibition publications;
• university-press books;
• archival materials published by reputable institutions;
• major newspapers and independent criticism;
• carefully used primary sources where appropriate and clearly identified.

I aim to distinguish documented fact from attribution, interpretation, oral history, market convention, and inference. I welcome corrections, additional sources, and disagreement grounded in evidence.

I do not regard any article or subject area as mine. I expect articles to improve through collaboration, revision, and scrutiny by other editors.

I am affiliated, in an unpaid capacity, with the Museum of Mexican Silver, a research and collecting project focused on twentieth-century Mexican silver and the Taxco School.

Because of that affiliation:

• I will disclose the connection when discussing the museum, its website, its collections, its collaborators, or external links to its pages;
• I will generally propose additions involving the Museum of Mexican Silver on article talk pages rather than adding them directly;
• I will not use Wikipedia to promote the museum, its collection, commercial activity, or objects in which I have a financial interest;
• I will prioritize independent published sources over material produced by the museum.

My Wikipedia contributions are unpaid and made in a personal capacity.

I approach Mexican silver as both an art-historical field and a workshop tradition. I am interested not only in prominent designers, but also in the master silversmiths, apprentices, salespeople, patrons, collectors, and institutions that made the Taxco renaissance possible.

I am particularly interested in correcting narratives that reduce the field to a small number of famous names or overlook preexisting Mexican metalworking traditions, collaborative workshop production, and the role of women, Indigenous artisans, and less-documented makers.

I welcome help locating stronger sources, correcting dates and names, resolving conflicting published accounts, and improving articles that rely too heavily on dealer biographies or unsupported collecting lore.
