Teenage American rapper, John-Paul Fernandez, known as swaggathekid, creates bouncy, creative, and energetic music. Taking inspiration from genres like Heavy Metal and Hip-Hop, and artists like Playboi Carti & Matt Ox Everyday, swaggathekid works hard to create music that will put listeners in awe, searching for a new sound that will make him different from others in the rap game. “Alternative, hype, energetic, that basically defines what my music really sound like, and I'm trying to create something new, something that really redefines rap, you know? If everybody hates my music, that's how I know it's really workin', that's how I know I'm creating something new, something they ain't never heard before. That isn't where my music is at right now though, I'm still getting there. I have yet to find my own sound”
