I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. My areas of interest include Mobile Privacy, User Context, Semantic Web and Machine Learning. I was selected to be part of the Google Glass Explorer program. In Spring of 2013 I presented a poster at HotMobile 2013 which was accepted in the SIGMOBILE Mob. Comput. Commun. Rev. and my paper was accepted for publication at PrivOn 2013, a workshop at the International Semantic Web conference 2013. I am working as a Research Assistant in the UMBC Ebiquity Research Group. I worked as an intern at Apple Inc. during summer 2013 with the Siri team. More details can be found in my resume attached below. I completed my undergraduate degree: Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology in 2007 from Jadavpur University with Honors. I am the Chair of the UMBC ACM Student Chapter and a Research Assistant in the Ebiquity Research Group and a Co-organizer of the UMBC hacakthon, hackUMBC.
