Said Saparov (born 1987) is an Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) coach who found "Performance MMA" team in Moscow, Russia, former senior coach and manager of "Eagles MMA Moscow" academy. In the early years successfully performing in amateur combat sports. Said is currently leading a large-scale mixed martial arts development project in Malaysia.
History
Said Saparov began his sports career at age 12, being a hereditary boxer in the third generation, the boy had no choice and went to the boxing gym. Years later, having gained good experience in one of the best boxing schools like "CSKA", the athlete tries his hand at combat sports. In his student years, he becomes the winner and medalist of many tournaments in hand-to-hand, pankration, wushu-sanda(sanshou) and grappling.
Coach career
On the advice of friends in 2012, Said begins coaching, opening an MMA gym in the hometown of Vladikavkaz. Along the way, he becomes the head-coach of the North Ossetia grappling team. Later he was appointed president of the North Ossetia Grappling Federation.
In 2015 was invited to work as a senior coach at the "Eagles MMA" academy in Moscow, whose president was UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. While working at the "Eagles MMA" academy, Said established himself as a good specialist in the field of martial arts, and also began working as a team and academy development manager.
Performance MMA
2018 becomes significant in his career, he creates his own project "Performance MMA". Professional MMA team and martial arts development program, which currently being successfully implemented in Malaysia. The opening of the first martial arts gym in the state of Kelantan is planned.
