Hey guys i'm Neon6419. I'm just like all of you, trying to make this site a little better and accurate, one article at a time. Talk with me, I like seeing that New Messages bar up. I like to hear others opinions. So tell me what you think on an article I edited on. If i'm on a discussion page, I will suggest ideas on the article. I will also ask a question based on the article. If you can, please reply to me on my talk page, not on the discussion page. Thank you all.
My opinion is that maybe Neversoft will have the band charaters as Aerosmith(Since Neversoft is "dedicating" the game closly to them. Joe Perry could be a boss or a major character in the game(Like a guitar hero with choosing a real life guitarist or hero and following their adventure of becoming a guitar legend). Possibilities such as this could finally lead to actual voiceovers instead of a Gorillaz looking type cutscene animation with the occasional groaning and comic bubbles with clues onn what the charaters are saying. I would still leave the comic style animations but with voiceovers. Since now all the next-gen systems have came out, developers should be looking onto how they could make their games better than the last one they made. Now since we are dealing with high-tech gaming engines and systems that are able to run games with this technology, I won't be surprised if Guitar Hero 4 has every single character from all the Guitar Hero game made so far with all their outfits that they've worn in every other game as well as new ones(could be availiable as dowloadable content). Individual voiceovers could be cool. As well as upgrading looks on characters, it will be a shock when the characters have a 'real' look to them, comparing it to their previous animations. Also, changing the way the band looks would be nice(ex. instead of having that Moses looking guy playing the bass all the time). They could have alternate outfits to suit the way your personal type of music genre, instead of having a random custom look(can also be used as dowloadable content). If developers use this type of idea, then online play would use the default look of the band. I would also not reveal the setlist to the public and make everyone wait until the game has come out, that way it will be more of a shock to people to see what that encore song could be than reading on a website what they can prepare for.
I think Guitar Hero 80s should have had a way longer setlist. I spent $50 on a 30 setlist game and 6 availible charaters. What a waste! They should have left Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy" on the game, as well as they should have added other 80s music. Such as KISS, Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Prince, Queen, etc. Maybe they should have added those as bonus tracks, being that Guitar Hero had 6 tiers and 17 bonus tracks, which had a total of 47 songs.
