Mitch Marner

Mitchell Marner was born on May 5, 1997 and is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger and alternate captain for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). Marner was born in Markham, Ontario,[2] and grew up in Thornhill Ontario. Marner was selected fourth overall by the Maple Leafs in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and began developing his on-ice skills with 3 zones hockey school where he played his minor league career in the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) and also played for the Don Mills Flyer and the Toronto Marbros.[1] Marner was then drafted into the OHL by the London Knights in 2013 and was the highest scoring right winger. Marner would then sign his first rookie contract with the Toronto maple leafs and is the current right winger on the first line of the starting lineup alongside with Auston Matthews. [2]
