I am a member of the Changamwe community having been born and raised in Changamwe.I still reside within Changamwe and have a lot of interest in the development and sustainability of this locality.Changamwe is the true gateway to Eastern and Central Africa boasting of the Kilindini Harbour,Kenya petroleum refinery,Kipevu Diesel plant of the Kenya Electricity generating company,Moi International airport,Kenya pipeline storage and pumping facility,East Africa railway marshalling yard,Grain storage silos,Container freight stations,Kipevu Oil Terminal,Port Reitz district hospital,a myriad of schools/hospitals/mosques/churches/residential estates/transport companies/manufacturing companies/Export processing zones/warehouses etc etc. All the above require to have patriotic citizens to be on high alert for both growth and sustainability for the posterity of future generations. I am a member,official and patron of various youth groups and residents associations and I plan to continue assisting the youth of this locality to be vibrant and aware of the potential and opportunities that are available in the area.I am also against the greedy land speculators who have currently invaded the area.Changamwe is an industrial area and great care must be taken to protect the environment.
