Marky1981 is the Wikipedia username of Mark Bagnall who was born in the city of Sheffield, England. The username is derived by adding a 'y' to his first name and appending his year of birth.
Mark has continued to live in Sheffield, studied Computer science at The University of Sheffield between 1999 and 2003. Since graduating, he has worked for HD Lifestyle, a small computer programming company branching from parent company HD Sports. Mark and his colleagues program a large web-based sports science- and fitness-related program using Java and Flash.
Mark's interests include Star Trek, playing the keyboard, line dancing, using the computer, surfing the Internet, contributing to Wikipedia and socialising with friends.
Mark is a Christian and attends a local Assemblies of God church.
