This account made some edits to Wikipedia in late 2001, when Wikipedia used UseModWiki. Its user page from the title "Laura" in March 2002 database dump is reproduced below. This page was deleted in August 2002 after this discussion because at the time it was thought that no Wikipedian by this name existed. Before the deletion, her user page would have been move by cut-and-paste from the main namespace to the userspace. Her edits to Wikipedia were not visible then because the mass-edit import of September 2002 had not yet been performed. Only the above-mentioned March 2002 edit and an edit from the Nostalgia Wikipedia, a copy of the Wikipedia database from December 2001, survive. The mass-import of September 2002 did not preserve the final revision of each page, so its exact date/time is unknown; however, the text below mentions "seasons greetings" and [[Special:Contributions/Laura|the account edited around Christmas day, so it's quite possible that the missing edit/s were made around this time. I'm a writer, my goal is to be a columnist. I've never wanted to write the great Canadian novel. Right now I am writing regular columns for two sites at Backwash. I'm almost ready to open HerCorner, part of the HerPlanet network for women. HerCorner is for writers, to encourage and inspire creative and professional writers. I might focus a bit more on personal and creative writing, there already seems to be so much about professional and web publishing. So much that its overlapping itself, there is such a thing as too much information.

I'm running email lists for Earth Witches, IT Women and freelance writers. InkSplatters is the only one which has more than a couple of subscribers but it does have the adavantage of being over 3 years old. The other lists are new this year.

My personal interests include ASCII art, travel, sewing, gardening, nature, history and of course, reading and writing. I'm a coffee drinker, cat person and a full figured knock out, if you want to know that much about me. :) I'm married, a Canadian married to a US citizen.
