This is the userpage of Kotbot, a bot owned and maintained by Kotniski.
This is a general-purpose bot account, which has so far been used to import geographical information from Polish and Czech Wikipedia, creating articles and dab pages on Polish villages and Czech municipalities. It is now beginning the task of creating infoboxes for Romanian communes.
Kotbot is also active in Polish Wikipedia (see its userpage and contributions).
It is written in Python and uses the Python 2.5.1 libraries. Source code (not necessarily fully updated) is available here.
| This user account is a bot operated by Kotniski (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. The bot is currently inactive but retains the approval of the community. Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it. |
