Joshua William (born January 27th, 1986) is a Northern Irish writer. He began writing poetry at the age of fourteen (14), with initial publications in a number of school magazines, and subsequently an India anathology. Josh has since written over hundreds of poems, short stories and a novel.

Early Life

Josh William was born in Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland, he grew up in the sea-side resort of Bangor, County Down. He went to school in Bangor and Holywood.

Career

Josh William started his writing career at the age of fourteen (14) with his first poem 'The Way I Look' he has since went on to write over hundreds of poems, short stories and a novel. He has had poems re-adapted into small sketches, poems public read at recitals, weddings and funerals and on the radio, aswell as publications in school magazines and a anathology. He has also published a novel.

Josh William was often heard on local radio for five years until 2007 when he left the radio to freelance.

Josh has also turned his hand to film making, writing, producing two (2) short films (never released due to editing problems) and produced and filmed one (1) film for a local radio station (was released on the internet) - He really enjoyed his time with filming and plans to do more at a future date.

Josh has also been keen to advise and represent local talented people, he advised a local punk-rock band until 2005 and got a local guy into films as an extra (through the help of a Belfast casting agency)
