This is Jim Groom's Wikipedia page. I have been a long time admirer and user of this amazing resource, and I am now trying my hand at contributing some time and effort of my own in getting to know the inner workings, community, and landscape a bit better. I have two articles that I have helped to create (The Glass Bees and Long poem), one essay on The Glass Bees, and two additional articles in my sandbox (Barbary Wars Sandbox and Tomu Uchida Sandbox) that I will be trying to build out a bit so they are more than just stubs.

- Long poem article, which a group of students in Mara Scanlon's Long Poem Seminar at the University of Mary Washington created on their own MediaWiki installation then put onto Wikipedia at the end of March, 2008.
