"Before" is the debut single by American singer Jacob Artist. It was released on January 31, 2024.
Background
Jacob Artist enters the music space after a colorful career in the arts. A Buffalo NY native, Artist’s first big leap came as Jake Puckerman on FOX’s hit television phenomenon Glee. His solo “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)” charted the Billboard Hot 100 upon its release the only song of the series to do so that season. Previously being accepted into the Juilliard School for dance, Artist chose instead to relocate to Los Angeles where he established his career as a multi hyphenate performer. “Before” is Artist’s debut single. Diving headfirst into the neo soul nostalgia of a thick and tender memory of connection.[1]
