Grant Bowman brings over twenty years of professional Internet experience in roles such as IT Manager, Sr. Systems Engineer and Consultant in corporate environments like Bank of America, Adobe, SuSE Linux, Inc. and several startups and open source projects. He is a Director of Partimus. With an increased technical capability this has brought an increased appreciation for the value of human elements in effective computer ecosystems. He sponsored Dr. Douglas Engelbart's Open Hyperdocument System project. He was a founding Director of Silicon Valley Public Access Link, a self-sustaining not for profit ISP in Santa Clara County that still serves customers today. Mr. Bowman is an elected leader of ubuntu-us-ca, an OLPC developer with the olpcsf.org group, a recognized Ubuntu Member and a Fedora Ambassador.
